enhancing site for Mozilla

Posted by: kristine In: Bookmarks

Would you like to make your blog or website more Mozilla-friendly? You can add some code to your site that allows Mozilla surfers to have a full directory/links of your site on the Personal toolbar. I implemented it a while back and refound the link today and thought I'd share it here – The Trommetter Times: Link Meta-Data.

Also, while you are using Mozilla, you can use ComposIte for easy textarea editing :)

One more cross-browser link, and I promise I'm done!! My husband has been trying out the speedy-fast version of Mozilla named Phoenix and is super impressed. Check it out and see if it would be a good alternative for you!
(edited to fix Phoenix link!)

The link you provided for Phoenix has an extra " at the end of the URL that shouldn't be there.

Great Info, thanks! I went and visited Trommetter but didnt "get it" at first, since I had my toolbar hidden. It might be worth mentioning that you have to make sure its enabled under View -> Show/Hide -> Site Navigation Bar. Once thats enabled you're golden, now to start working on my own.

Just a funny note–did you know that mosaic supported link metadata back in the dark ages? I just fired it up yesterday, to see how my page looked in a 1996 browser, and there at the top were my "home, next, etc" links. Cool.
