		<description>Thanks. This is awesome. It is quizzical that WordPress, by default, does not include a way to access/create page excerpts.

I used this in the footer of my blog. I a using Derek Powazek&#039;s &quot;depo skinny&quot; theme. I used this code to replace the code he included in the footer that pulled what ever you put in the description on the profile section in the WP admin. Works great.</description>

		<description>I have seen that plugin - and I think I tried to use it for this project. For some reason I couldn&#039;t use it and unfortunately I can&#039;t remember why. Next time I have to do a similar setup, I will try it again and try to remember to make a note of what issue I ran into with it...</description>
