Jennifer,
Do you know that under IE, your sidebar occasionally disappears?

Ah- nevermind. Your site does what mind does on occasion when I get a too long url.

At the bottom of the page it said for me:
24 total queries executed.
11 unique queries executed.
Doesn’t that seem a bit wasteful? Some queries were run more than twice just to load the page, and there aren’t even any bugs listed there.

I still don’t understand why you guys switched to wordpress.. whats wrong with MT 3.0D? they still have a FREE version you know… sure it limits you to 1 blog and 3 authors, but how many of us actually RUN into that limit anyway? I mean you wouldn’t, and I wouldn’t.. so I don’t see what the big deal is..
http://blog.tcoburn.org
running Moveable Type 3.0D
completely FREE, I didn’t pay Sixapart one stinkin’ DIME for it..
runs ALL my 2.661 plugins without problems, so I don’t see what the big deal is… when would you ever run into a 1 blog and 3 author limit? humm?
sure you have 2 blogs, or maybe more, but there all on different domains right? so..again..whats the big deal? you can have 50 blogs all on different domains if you want, all free, so again I don’t see the problem here… I would have thought switching to wordpress would be more of a hassle then anything… all my 2.661 templates work just fine with 3.0D, other then the comments, but that was really a minor change..
again I don’t see a big deal, but oh well.. I think you guys gave up too easy and didn’t read the whole thing first before giving up and switching, thats what i think.
besides, why downgrade your blog to crappier blog software just because you don’t like that they decided to do a pmachine turn around…?

Tom - what exactly did that have to do with this post? I’m glad you’re happy with MT. Good for you. I’m very happy with WordPress. I can do things with it eaiser than I could ever do things with MT. I don’t consider it “crappier blog software”. Freedom of choice. We don’t ALL have to use the SAME CMS. Get over it.

Jennifer: Sorry, I was talking about the bug tracker page when I quoted the number of running queries. And, err, I’m not using MT.. I’m using WordPress, actually, and like it a lot. Being in PHP is a big plus because I don’t know any Perl.

Tom (alltom.com) - the previous comment I left wasn’t directed at you
It was directed at “Tom Coburn” - who left his comment after yours.
Too many Toms! LOL
