Currently Reading
I know I’m behind the times a bit, but it started with the “currently listening to” interest (that I still have yet to implement) but then when I saw this link, I thought I’d mention it, since it’s the next logical step.
Looks like you can set up a “currently reading” link (that can even get associated with an Amazon associate id).

(FYI - if you have an alternate way of doing this, I’d be interested in hearing about it… just for curiosity sake)

I use mt-bookqueue on my site, which works with MTAmazon locally to build my reading list. This also means I can integrate it with my RSS/Atom feeds.

via Scriptygoddess, I found All consuming, a “a website that watches weblogs for books that they’re talking about, and displays the most popular ones on an hourly basis.” This is a really interesting idea. You can create your own reading…

haha - to think it was 8 months ago that i commented about the MT plugin - anyway, i know this is old but i finally did a similar sort of plugin for WP - it’s only been tested on my installation of WP, so i’d still consider it a fairly beta plugin - but you can see the details over here
