I just went there and saw the link to download the 2.6 friendly version… Scroll down to the second “warning” that says this:
Warning: MT-Notifier version 2.0.1 is not compatible with versions of Movable Type prior to 3.0D. If you want to use MT-Notifier with a version prior to 3.0D, use 1.4.1 instead.

Too bad Chad doesn’t make old versions of MT-Notifier available!
I can’t find anywhere on his site to download old versions.
Notifier 2.0 is only compatible with spam-friendly MT 3.0 (I use 2.66).
