.htaccess generator (and RSS Weather)

A very nice find by Jennifer! This .htaccess generator wil create the code you need for your .htaccess file for various things – like custom 404 pages, hotlink protection, etc…

(update: Looks like there's some issue about that first link being a copy (see comments) – here is the one that is said to be the original: EyeCreate – .htaccess File Wizard)

(She also found a neat RSS Weather thingy™. I've got to start paying attention to the Lockergnome RSS resources!)

It looks like I've stumbled onto a thorny copyright issue with the .htaccess wizard. Spooky how close they are to one another isn't it. Does Google hold the answer?? Well it has a view! … Note the 'Supplemental Result' text….

Here's another one with more features (mod_rewrite, mime types, etc)… This one is open-source so you can download a copy and re-use the code

From the comments on http://eyecreate.net/htaccess.html it looks like the code on php2b has allegedly been stolen from http://www.eyecreate.net. You might want to point this out in your main article. From my quick persusal of eyecreate they certainly have a more convincing argument that php2b does!
