I uninstalled all macromedia software, which included Macromedia flash player as well as Shockwave, and manually deleted flash.ocx. I then downloaded the new version of Macromedia flash player, and email works flawlessly now. I thought I would be clever and with the in by making a new mobile phone bloggin perl script but someone has beat me to it! Congrats.
