Even if you've been designing websites for years, it is always a good idea to step back and remember to consider how people will be using the site. (The challenge after that is getting your boss or the client to understand!)

This reminds me of the time when my sister, right after dumping AOL for a Cable modem, called me up and said "I don't like this new Internet, they don't have anything."
She thought she had to start off at the cable service provider's web site all the time.
