New Referral Script
Robyn found a great new referral script from Textism. See it working here or here.
[thanks for the heads up Robyn!]

I got that new referral log installed, and I’m happy to report it was easy as pie — even for a natural blonde. It’s over in my sidebar now under “baby I’m a star”, second grouping. If you wanna quick peek, you can also do so here.

thanks for the link! i love this script! i had to make a few modifications (for those of you with subdomains, i discovered i needed to manually enter the entire path to the script directory), but otherwise it works great!

reb: could you explain how the path should be entered for subdomains?

i’m not sure you guys can offer any help with this or not, but i figured i’d give it a go as i’m not sure what to do next. this script worked great on my old host and i didn’t get any errors. however, i just switched hosts and tried installing v 1.7 the other day and am getting the following error:
mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource
i e-mailed dean allen to see if he could help and he said that it sounded like an error one of the previous versions had, so i deleted it all and re-installed 1.7 again, but with no luck. can anyone help me out? thank you!

I’ve never installed this script - so I’m not sure what’s involved. Perhaps there is a setting that was one way on your host, but needs to be a different way on the new host?

I’m trying to install this on a RAQ Cobalt server, but it’s not working…has anyone had similar problems?
